Measurements: 60lbs of pure personality, beautiful big eyes and a big heart!
History: When Casey was first brought to the rescue, she was a scared stray that did not know how to trust humans. After the time our staff and volunteers spent with her, she became a little less afraid and more trusting. We learned quickly that Casey would do best in a home as the only pet, as she does not get along well with cats or dogs.
She has yet to be introduced to a child, since arriving here at the rescue, so proper introductions will be needed. We do believe that she would do best in a home with children above the age of 15, as she is still learning to trust, so loud sounds and fast movements still scare her.
Ideal home: Casey's new home will need to consist of a 6ft privacy fence, as a requirement. She would love a home in the country where she would not have to worry about neighboring dogs surrounding her. A family that would be willing to spend quality time giving her attention and affection is her dream. Since she does have a harder time trusting new people, she would love to have a few meets and greets outside to help her bond.
Personality: Casey is incredibly sweet and loving once she is comfortable with you, all she wants is someone to love her.
Favorite pastime: Getting snuggles and lovins from her favorite volunteers. A good long run around our play yards make her day!
