Hi! I'm Mystic!

I'm a 55 pound German Shepherd Mix with LOTS of love to give. I absolutely love snuggling and giving puppy kisses. I am potty and house trained, and from previous foster home experience I also do pretty well on walks. Sometimes when there are too many people or too much going on, I get distracted.

I love running in the backyard and I'm very good at coming back when you call me, but I should probably stick to the backyard with that trick! I do require a fence, in my new home as I do like to chase bunnies and I can also jump pretty high! I would do best with a 6ft fence, to keep me safe and secure in my own backyard. My favorite toys are bones, tennis balls, and stuffies (even though I may destroy them). I still find a few things scary, so I may bark at new people at first, but outside of my kennel I am a whole different dog! Treats and reassurance help me trust faster, but in no time, I'll be anyone's best friend! You may even have to be careful when I get the zoomies, as I think running between people's legs are fun! When I get really excited, I like to be playful, but to humans I am mouthy and young children may not like me, but kids older than 12 years could be fun! They will want to make sure that they know I have lots of energy, and don't know about personal space! As for other dogs, I would need to be the only dog in the home. I love people, but other dogs can be scary! I do have some anxiety when my favorite people leave but would love a home that is willing to be patient with me as I learn that they cannot be home all day, every day, to play with me.
