Hi everyone, you have just met your new furry soulmate!
My name is Briar and I am 1 year old shepherd/husky mix and I came all the way from Manitoba at 6 months old. I have been here at the Niagara Falls shelter since December and I am ready to find my furever home. When I first came into the shelter I had a compromised immune system and lost all my fur. With great care from the staff I got a clean bill of health and ready to start enjoying what life has to offer. I am beautiful girl who is behaved in my kennel and I love to stay outside as I can be stubborn to come back inside (ask the staff lol). I am pretty good on a leash but I will need some basic training as I have lived most of my life at the shelter. I am a very sweet, lovable girl but I would be best suited in a house with no small kids. I do like other dogs but sometimes I become possessive with my food around other dogs so maybe I should be the one and only. I am very eager to find my furever home and start my new adventure.
