Like The Bachelor, poor Nalo has not yet been chosen. Will you be the person to give Nalo a rose and commit to him forever? At 8 years old he is perfectly middle-aged. This dashing, darling tuxedo boy (who doesn't love a man in a tux?) was found as a stray. Not knowing where to find food, shelter, or safety it's only natural he is a bit cautious when first meeting people. Start with a quick 5-minute visit, leave, then come back for a longer visit. Same day is fine. Slow and steady wins the race! Be sure to crouch or sit down with him, as opposed to standing above him. We have observed he seems to feel safer this way. Nalo's name means "lovable" and we know how adorable he is. Though it's tempting to grab him for snuggles, he prefers to lead interactions by being the first to approach. Allowing him that autonomy goes a long way in quickly earning his trust. Nalo loves to play with wand toys and mousies. He's a great supervisor if you're working on a project or on your computer. He's a great companion when binge watching tv or just hanging out at home. He LOVES his catio so a home with a window aka nature's cat tv would be best for him. He is a sweet, loving boy who needs that person/family who will meet him where he is and understands how important it is to read a cat's body language.
