Hi! My name is Amelia and I am an almost 2-year-old mixed breed dog! I was found as a stray when I was 4 months old, and a very nice person brought me to MaxFund for a second chance at a good home! I spent a few months in MaxFund's dog training program and was adopted by a wonderful person! Unfortunately, life happens and I had to be returned to the shelter. Don't worry, I didn't do anything wrong, my previous owner had nothing but great things to say about me!
I know sit, shake, and place very well- and I am VERY potty trained! It definitely helps that I LOVE TREATS!!!!!!
Speaking of things I love, I am an excellent fetcher and love playing tug! I like to sun bathe, and roll in the grass; and I would be an excellent running partner! I haven't been on a hike yet, but I've heard they are great! Will you take me on one, or a hundred?
My perfect home would be with a very very active family, who has a lot of time to play with me, do lots of puzzles to work out my brain, and will continue my training! Previous pit bull experience is a plus!
If you have any potential canine brothers/sisters for me, please bring them with you to the shelter so we can do a slow, supervised introduction! I am very dog-friendly when I am properly introduced to them! As for human brothers/sisters I would do best if they were older, because I can a bit of a bowling ball!
