Macaw is a very handsome Red Heeler mix. This boy needs a home with adult humans that will give him plenty of room to run off that Heeler energy, play ball for hours (because ball is life), and go on lots of outdoor adventures together. He is a sweet and active boy that would be perfect for anyone looking for a running partner or hiking buddy.
He is currently doing a lot of strict training and will need an owner who will continue training at home. This boy has a lot of energy and a lot of attitude and a strict schedule is what would be best for him. In true Heeler fashion, he's a bit picky about his canine companions, so we suggest scheduling a meet and greet with the other dogs in the home before adoption. Once he decides he likes them he will have a blast.
