This BIG fella is Yeti. Yeti needs a job doing what he was bred for, guarding his flock. This is not an apartment dog! Yeti can be a bit suspicious of new people, but again this is what he was bred for. Yeti had been adopted about 4 months ago but recently was returned as he bit someone. This someone was someone that he had met before, but had come into the house at night, unannounced and wearing a hat. Again, Yeti did what he was bred to do. Anyone who considers adopting him must be aware of his breeding and his history! Grooming will be a constant chore, luckily, he is fond of being groomed. Yeti will be happiest spending most of his time outdoors with an available shelter. Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lowers stress hormones, and allows the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
