My name is Ira and I was born in 2017, meaning I am about 5 years old now! I am young and healthy which means that I could be a great addition to your family if you are interested in growing old with a pet as your companion. Some things may change along the way, but we will get through it together.
I was brought into MaxFund as a stray, no chip was found, and I was not neutered. Once off my stray hold, I did receive a physical exam as well as microchipping, and neutering process. I was difficult when getting examined, so that is one thing you need to be patient with and want to work on with me. I used to hide a lot, but more recently I have been much more adventurous and sociable. I even climbed into a volunteer's lap! I don't think I need to be in the feral room anymore, do you? If you are interested in helping me grow and gain confidence, then come visit the cat shelter and ask for Ira.
