Hi. My name is Scarlett and I'm 4 years old. I can't wait to get a home of my own. I hope there's other cats there - that would be awesome. I like people, teens and adults best - younger kids are just so unpredictable and noisy - they kinda freak me out actually. I'm a more sensitive cat and I think a quieter home would be best for me, - a place where I can learn to trust and just be myself. Before I came to the shelter, I wasn't safe, so I spook and startle easily and need loving kindness and time to slowly warm up to new people and situations. I like when people come by and pet me; I'm too shy to go meet them on my own, so please ask for me when you come to the adoption room. Let me get to know you before you pet me. Sometimes, I like to say I love you back, by licking your hands. Would that be okay with you?
