Meet Arya! Arya is an Anatolian Shepherd X Great Pyrenees Mix who has a lot of love to give. Knowledge of LGD's would be useful when considering adopting this breed. She is not dog social but can walk on leash past another dog. She loves people and is very affectionate. Arya is a LARGE dog. So she would not do well in an apartment type space. Arya loves nothing more than being outside watching the world go by. She has not been evaluated around livestock/chickens but for a potential adopter we could. No other animals in home. Pros: The best cuddles. She is soft, fluffy and loves to fully body lean in for the good scratches. Gentle giant. She takes treats like a 6lbs Yorkie. She hasn't destroyed any toys and is pretty mindful of her size. Laid back, if she could just hang out on the deck all day she would. She enjoys hikes in the forest as well, enjoying all the sights and sounds. Polite on leash. Beautiful. Arya makes everybody want to stop and say Hi, she makes an impact everywhere she goes.
Full grown, she has finally finished growing so no surprises! Cons: Not dog social. She is a livestock Guardian dog and it's typical for them not to be social with dogs outside of the household that they where raised in. Must be on a tie out or watched outside as she can climb fences with ease. Adoption fee: $500 All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application.
