Leopard geckos are one of the most popular pet lizard species, with their perpetual grin it is not hard to see why they have endeared themselves to the hearts of many over the last 30 years. While are they are usually quite docile, they can become frightened and possibly drop their tail. The tail does grow back, but it does take a lot of resources for that to happen, so a good diet is always key. As babies, they are banded and spotted, but may lose their banding as they grow.
The species is nocturnal, so they do sleep during the daytime hours and are more active at night.
It is not advised to house 2 leos - as they are affectionately known - together as they can and do fight.

Galaxy is not social and is not used to being handled.
