Meet Leo!
This playful and spunky bachelor is ready for a full time commitment!
Deets: 50 lbs of pure fun, he's a mix of Terrier, Pitty and personality!
Personality: Playful! So much so that he likes to think that being leashed is a game! He loves his time playing out in our yards, so leaving a leash on him is great way of getting him back in, when he is in a playful mood.
Favorite pastimes: Playing fetch and working on commands and tricks with his favorite volunteer! Rides in the car for pup cups is a fun pastime as well as romps in the yard. Don't even get us started on Leo's love of balls. He thinks it's great fun to see how quickly he can tear them apart. (Defnitely a super chewer!) He's upgraded from tennis balls to harder rubber toys to help keep him busy.
He loves playing with other dogs when we have our playgroups but says "Ewwwww!" to cats so would do best in a home without cats. We are not aware if Leo has ever been around young children, but he does have a hard time with people trying to take toys away from him, so children 12+ would be best.
Dream home: Leo would love to have a family that is able to be home with him part of the time but would also love to be taken on fun adventures to help bond with his new family. Leo would do best in home without shared walls, as he can be a very vocal boy, (maybe he was a pop star in his last life?) so an apartment would not be the best fit. He would love to have a fenced in yard to run and play in, but it is not required.
As with all of our doggos, proper introductions with all family members (furry and hooman) is required. Leo can be nervous when it comes to meeting new people and will need a few introductions with his new forever family.
