Tamar!!

Adorable Diamond in the Ruff... shy and timid when you first meet her, she shines once she knows you!

Measurements: Large sized lovie, short in stature she weighs in at 53 pounds of pure sugar!

Deets: A 5-year-old Boxer Mixalicious!

Personality: She is still on the shy side and learning to trust, however she quickly becomes a playful, snuggle bug once she figures out that you are her friend. She is a very playful girl and gets along with other dogs, with proper, slow introductions.

Background: Tamar was rescued along with 7 other doggos from an unfortunate situation. She was very under socialized and very frightened of just about everything. She is still uncertain of new situations and people, to this day, but really warms up to people who are patient and kind.

Perfect Match: She will need time and lots of patience, but once she is comfortable around you, her personality just shines. She would do best in a home with kids 12+, as loud noises and fast movements can be scary for her. A family with a doggo would be wonderful so she can learn the ropes, but not required. An apartment would not be the best fit for her, as she is still learning how to walk on a leash (and doing a great job!), but a physically fenced-in yard will be a requirement for her at this time, so that she can play in the safety of her own home. She would need a home that is willing, patient, and consistent, to take time to show her new things, and to help her learn that not all people, places, and noises are scary.
