Coco my holiday foster. She is the sweetest cuddle bug! She is house broken, walks well on a leash and loves a good snooze. She is looking for her forever home!

Foster update: "Coco is a 7 year old princess who's love language is definitely physical touch! She wants nothing more in life than a comfy bed and some good pets! She is a HUGE cuddle-bug and will happily curl up next to you in bed or next to you wherever you are! She's a quiet girl who just wants some good love. I was saddened to see she came back to the shelter after two years (through no fault of her own), but she's a resilient and strong girl.
Coco is housetrained and cratetrained! She's so good at letting me know when she needs to go outside. Coco is great on a leash too! Our walks have been so easy and calm. She's also great in her crate! She goes in easily and goes right to sleep.
Coco would be the perfect addition to any home (although, she would prefer to be the only pet as she has so much love to give to her people). Coco has never met a stranger and will politely ask for pets from anyone. She also loves practicing her sit and down, especially if there are treats involved. "

I met Coco in the impound room, and when a care taker told me she'd been at the shelter some time ago, I looked at her again and remembered my sweet friend. I loved Coco then and still do. She's all love and sweetness. She's older now, and her coat is not as shiny, but she's still a snuggler and people pleaser. When she was surrendered to the shelter, her first owner said Coco was house trained and good with kids. She came in as a stray today, so I don't have any new background information. What I do know is that Coco is the same happy, sweet dog who stole my heart the first time I met her.

When I was talking about Coco with the Volunteer Coordinator, the first thing she said about her was that she's a snuggler. So true!
Coco loves being with people and eats up all the attention and hugs you can give her. She's a happy girl who's always ready for pets, scratches, and love. I'd get her to sit on the picnic table, scratch her neck, and tell her she's a good girl then take a step back for a picture, and she'd ease forward. Her bottom would still be sitting on the table, but her front legs were now on the bench. She was following instructions but at the same time trying to be as close as she could to me.

Coco's former owner said Coco is house trained and good with kids. She's a sweet girl who needs a new family to snuggle with!
