Harlow is a seven year old black and white "tuxedo cat who sadly was returned to the shelter when her owner died. Since losing her family and home she doesn't trust people and rarely comes for pets or attention. If she is startled or handled too abruptly, she can panic bite which makes most people fearful of her. But truly - is she actually the fearful one? We've found out that right now, she likes pets on her forehead only, and we respect her needs. To make matters worse, Harlow isn't grooming herself, so her coat is dull and matted. Finding a home for a fearful and unattractive cat is very difficult, and she may end up living out the rest of her life at the shelter. But we remain ever hopeful that someone will open up their heart and home to a cat who needs a second chance at life. Could you be that special person she needs?
