Hi, my name is Ella, I was brought in to this shelter shortly after my owner passed away. When I first arrived, the shelter staff noticed that I was very over weight, and had a horrible double ear infection, as well as a hematoma in one of my ears. My ears have been treated, and other than some scar tissue that formed in one of my ears, I have healed very well and not had any other issues. I am on a diet and am slowly losing weight, which is difficult because I love food and treats! I am very sweet and smart and absolutely love people, and I even do well with kids. I love to cuddle, play with toys, and get all the attention! My main issue is that I am picky with other animals, but I am very cat aggressive, so I shouldn't live in a home with cats. I enjoy hunting lizards, squirrels, bunnies, and even flying birds while I am out in the play yards, and I am fast, so don't be surprised to see me catch something, as it is one of my favorite things to do! I would love to find a home with a loving family who will give me all the love and attention I want and deserve! I love getting belly rubs and full body scratches!
