Stewie's journey has been anything but easy. He lost his front leg as a puppy and spent nearly his entire life on a chain. Despite his past, Stewie has zero bitterness in his heart-he is a certified "Good Boy" who has completely impressed our staff with his calm temperament and stellar house manners.
Stewie loves people and gets along beautifully with other dogs. He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, and the shelter will continue to cover the cost of his treatment until he is fully recovered! Stewie doesn't need much-just a soft bed, a family to love him, and the chance to finally live the indoor life he's always deserved.
