Meow. Kevin here. I like to play ball. No, not basketball, like Kevin McHale. I play with ping pong balls. No table. No paddle. Just my paws. Let's try it when you take me home to be your boy! I'm a good-looking neutered orange tabby adult who was brought to Paws and Claws with three other cats from my home by my owner's son. See, my owner died, and the son has been bringing us cats to the shelter in small groups. Four of our housemates came in on Christmas Eve, and we were so happy to see them! We were really nervous, so we all huddled up with them to feel safe. There are still more cats coming from the house, I think. The son doesn't know our names, so the shelter people gave us new names. It's confusing for me, but I guess I am Kevin now. I hope you can be patient with me - losing my person, my home, my name, and worrying about my friends - it's a lot, you know. But I'm usually a friendly, affectionate boy who loves receiving affection and petting. I also enjoy being brushed, and I enjoy chasing the red dot from a laser light toy. I used to sleep with my person. I'm a good guy, and I think I'll be a good friend for somebody. I have a request, though. Could you adopt one of my pals too? We've been together a while, and it would be really good to have a companion from the old days to help with my transition to my new life. That would be like heaven! Then I'll be happy to be your Kevin.
