The rats are ready for adoption! Rats are very social and must be adopted to a home with other rats. These babies were born in our care and have been handled daily. They will be great pets if you continue to work with them!

These rats were found running around as strays near the UoI campus. The finders tried contacting other rescues but could not find anybody else to help. Since we already had the supplies, we stepped up to take these little ones on. We held them for a week and they have not shown any signs of being ill, so they are ready to find forever homes!

We are working on handling and getting better every day. We are so young that socialization daily will be key to our futures as pet rats! None of us have ever tried to bite here. We are NOT spayed. This can be beneficial for us long term, but we cannot be spayed until we are adults and we'd like to find homes now! We should only live with other females or neutered males so that we do not contribute to pet overpopulation (as that's how we got here!)

My adoption fee was generously donated by Crimson & Gray!
