Greetings, friends! My name is Vino and I'm a handsome 14-year old boy with a black coat and unusually stunning eyes -- one is green and one is a lovely amber. I came to MaxFund in November 2020 when I was transferred from another shelter.
I'm a loving and affectionate boy whose favorite things are receiving pets, snuggling in laps and basking in the sunshine through the window in my room where I live with other senior kitties. I'm also inquisitive and enjoy exploring my surroundings and trying out different spots to have my nap. I'm very nicely behaved with other cats, as long as they are calm and mellow like I am, and, happily, I've made friends with some of my fellow seniors. I've been told that I have a history getting along with dogs and older children, too, but they would have to be courteous and respectful considering I'm in my golden years. I do take some medication for my thyroid and I am on a special diet - the medical staff can tell you more about this. I am eligible for both adoption and foster.
I'm pretty sure I must have had a home once but I don't know what happened. What I do know is that I have tons of love to give and that I will be eternally grateful to the human who welcomes me into a warm and loving home to live out my retirement and allows me to become a member of their family.
