Mina has been diagnosed with end-stage renal disease. She is expected to have between a year and two years to live. We hope to find Mina a family who will fill the time she has left with love and happiness. She will be in our hospice program; she can go to an adoptive home, but her necessary medical expenses will be covered by NMDR. Mina is also heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. She needs to stay calm.

The NMDR Rehab Team is working with Mina to help her work through some behavior challenges. She needs a family who will be extra patient with her, and who preferably has previous experience with dogs. The NMDR Behavior Manager will talk to prospective adopters to explain the work we've done with her, and what will be the best home situation for her.
