"Be yourself. Everyone else is taken." (Oscar Wilde) I'm Oscar, a white and orange boy who was found with Peanut, an orange tabby boy, on a property in Mapleview. Our rescuer didn't think we're related, but we're both estimated to be a little over a year old, so we could be. She took us to the vet for exams and had us neutered before bringing us to Paws and Claws. Peanut has been adopted, but I'm still waiting for my forever home. I'm a friendly, curious, and chatty guy who likes to go up and greet people when they come into my room. I love to have my head scratched and be petted! I can tend to get a bit over-stimulated and lightly swat if the petting lasts too long or if the area of my back near my tail is touched. For that reason, I will do best in a home with adults who are experienced in reading cats' body language. If we can understand each other, that's a pawsitive step. Here's another thing Mr. Wilde said, "Who, being loved, is poor?" I'm hoping to be a very rich cat someday soon. Love, Oscar.
