Meet Queen!

Queen was found in the town of Gan, being fed by the community. Once the people that found her realized she was pregnant, she was caught and brought into GDHS. Shortly after Queen arrived, she gave birth to 5 beautiful, healthy kittens. Here is what her foster family has to say about her:

"Queen came to us as a semi-feral cat with her 5 kittens. Over the time we have had her she learned to trust and started coming up to us. She was a little stand-off-ish at first but after she saw we were here to help, she was able to feel safe in our environment. At the beginning she would get scared over loud noises and wouldn't leave her kittens when we were around her. As her kittens began to walk around she began to move around while we were in the room. We don't know how she is with other animals, but she would probably do best in a home without young kids. We think she'd be fine with other cats it's just a matter of time. She needs to be with a family who has patience, but she loves her food and treats. We are wishing her all the best to wherever she goes next."

Queen is still very shy, however is very food motivated and greets us daily at feeding time, you can often find her hanging out in a hidey-hole when it's busy. Queen will need ongoing socialization and an understanding home who is patient with her and her needs. We think a quiet home with no young children would be best for Queen's personality to shine through!
