Say hello to the gentlest, sweetest boy- Rusty. Rusty is a 2 year old Shepherd mix. Rusty loves to give kisses and cuddles to our staff and volunteers who've spent time teaching him to trust humans again. Rusty hasn't had the easiest life and we believe he was mistreated by humans in the past. He specifically is timid around men, so you'll need to go slow when getting to know this sweet boy.
He is such a lover and we've already made a lot of progress with him here at the center. He'll need to be in a quiet, gentle home with respect kids who can give him time to warm up and allow him his own space. He has met other dogs and isn't the biggest fan of them, so we'd like him to be the only pet in the home.
He is such a gentle angel who deserves a second chance at a life with humans who protect, love, and care for him.
