My foster mom says I'm loving and lovely. I don't know whether to believe her. Most of my life has been a CATastrophe, and I don't have much self-esteem left. My foster mom calls me Mila, and I like the sound of that-it's been a long time since anyone called me anything. She says Mila means "dear one," and she treats me like a princess. I do like it when she gently scratches my head. I like the cozy bed she gave me. I really like Fancy Feast cat food.

I used to live outside with lots of other kitties. Someone fed us, and life wasn't too bad. But then I started hurting all over-my teeth, my bones, my tummy. I crawled onto a trash pile behind an abandoned house and settled down to wait for whatever might come next.

What came was my foster mom, and a doctor, and some dental work, and some medicine, and lots and lots of Fancy Feast! I've gained weight (that's a good thing, in my case), I've learned to enjoy being petted (some of the time), I'm starting to play (cautiously), and I've begun to purr. I'm thinking it's time now for me to find a peaceful forever home. If it's not too much to ask, I'd like a soft bed, lots of Fancy Feast, and a mom or dad with the patience and cat-savvy to help me become the lovely and loving lady I was meant to be. Oh, wouldn't it be loverly?

If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website - - and choose me, MILA! My adoption fee is $100 and includes all of my routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, FelV/FIV testing (kitties), deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, boarding and transportation costs if applicable, along with a free* trial offer for 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance!
