Hello, Rochester, I'm Frasier. "I'm listening." Some people may think I am timid, and perhaps I am, if you look at me from a human being's purr-spective. However, I am a cat. A brown and white tabby male cat who came to this fine facility from Animal Control in St. Paul after my owner gave me up. What to a human looks like shyness may to a cat be getting the lay of the land, as it were. Waiting for proper introductions. A feline's way of "listening." You may recall that Frasier was a psychiatrist first on Cheers, and then on his own sitcom. Psychiatrists have to be good at listening, and so do cats. We have to study the signals from people, especially in new places. So cheers to me! I like having my chin and ears scratched, and I play a little. Like a doctor and patient, it may take you and I some time to get comfortable with one another. That's purr-fectly fine. In time, I can become the best listener you've ever met. Frasier, the Feline Dr. of Psychiatry. Don't like doctors, especially shrinks? Then how about this? I'll just be Frasier, your best friend.
