Meet Waylon! Waylon is a very handsome 5-year-old Retriever mix who weighs ~85 lbs. He has a goofy, slightly mischievous personality that will keep a smile on your face all year long. He is affectionate but not a Velcro dog; he can be trusted at home and has not displayed any separation anxiety. His likes include:
*sun puddles *treats/snacks/foodstuffs *walking *rolling around in grass *splashing in water (puddles or pools, not baths) *talking about his feelings Waylon knows basic commands like sit, down, and wait and is both house and crate trained. He is also an excellent co-pilot and loves riding in the car. Waylon is a medium-energy pup. This means he needs his daily exercise/adventure but is also content to chill around the house for long stretches while you do boring things likes yard work or work work. Because Waylon is unsure around strangers until proper introductions have been made, he should go to a dog-savvy home with older children (13+). No cats! Adoption fee: $400 All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application.
