Cat spats happen, right? Everyone who has multiple cat households knows that. I lived in a home where I got along well with my littermate, but another cat in my home terrorized me. Imagine having your bathroom guarded so that you had nowhere appropriate to do your business! Now that's a problem! So I ended up at a shelter in the Twin Cities. I'm Cleo, by the way. I'm a good-looking brown tabby girl. I'm five years old, and I have been spayed. Once I got into the shelter in the Cities, I enjoyed playing and being petted, but sometimes I became over-stimulated and tried to swat. I never actually scratched or injured anyone. Still, it would be best if I am not around young children. My former owners also said that I am shy and that it takes me a while to warm up to new people. I hid from children and from dogs. Since coming to Paws and Claws, I have been friendly and a bit chatty. I "chirp" when I talk, and I was a good traveler on my trip from St. Paul. People are saying that I am overweight and need to be put on a diet. I might need some help with grooming and personal hygiene until I can do a better job myself. I am a very sweet girl who likes attention and brushing. I get nervous and squirmy when I am held. I am curious, and I will play a little. Maybe we can work on our fitness resolutions together! I'd like to be healthy and happy, so if you can help Cleo live the very best life pawsible, please consider adopting me! XXXOOO
