Please welcome our beautiful Bonkers with the stunning green eyes!

After 10 years of having her very own family, Bonkers never thought she'd end up in a shelter. But, through no fault of her own, sadly, Bonkers found herself being sent to a shelter where she most likely would have been put down. Luckily, someone was looking down on our friendly, outgoing girl and EHS was able to intervene and bring Bonkers to our shelter.

At first, Bonkers was getting lots of love and attention from all the volunteers at the shelter, and her cute little personality was shinning through. It couldn't have been easy to adjust to all the changes, but Bonkers was doing quite well. She didn't care for the vet, but then again who really likes seeing the doctor?!

However, the shelter environment started to become too overwhelming for Bonkers and she was not doing well. So now this beauty has gone into foster where we know she is relaxing and her sweet personality is shining again. She is getting all the love and attention she deserves in a home setting which she has been used to for so many years! Her foster dad is happy to report that she is quite the affectionate cat, thought she doesn't care to be picked up.

There's no doubt that Bonkers has been through a stressful time in her life. So, the vet has recommended a low-stress environment for this mature beauty. A quiet, low-key home would be ideal for Bonkers. Experienced cat owners would be a plus.

If you think Bonkers is the friend you need and have been looking for, please email the cat team to set up a time to visit our gorgeous girl! We know that when you look into Bonkers' eyes, you won't just see a living being. You will see a friend, you will see a soul.

The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $150. Take home a feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $250! Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 6 months of age, but the cost of the spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.
Please contact for more details about Bonkers or fill out our online form. An EHS representative will be pleased to help!
