***IN FOSTER****

We fell for Adele!!!

And we, at EHS, think you will, too! Our gorgeous little mini-panther was rescued from a hoarding situation in Beamsville with her three little ones. But that's Water Under the Bridge, as we saw real potential for Adele to give up that rough, harsh outdoor life, stop singing the blues, and sign up for a much cushier lifestyle, indoors! So Adele was given a new start in a foster home, where she can learn to trust and love humans!

Adele had a very rough start to life and, given that she had minimal contact with people, she is shy and timid. But, she is progressing every month, as she learns how to become that trusting and confident indoor kitty! While she doesn't enjoy being held, she won't give you the Cold Shoulder and Adele enjoys the occasional cheek and chin scratches! She has started to play in front of her Foster mom, slowly letting her guard down, bit by bit. And Adele is now accepting treats from her Foster mom, which is real progress for our shy little girl.

In order to help Adele increase her comfort level with humans, one of her confident kittens, Laylah, is residing with her, in Foster. Adele is learning from her little girl, enjoy the cushy indoor life, and has become more comfortable being with people. She is more relaxed and confident, exploring her home, because there is still so much to discover indoors! She has even begun to enjoy sleeping on her Foster mom's bed at night!

Now Rumour Has It that Adele really does have the best digs imaginable! Her Foster mom built her a cuddle crate, and added a litter box to her "apartment," and Adele is loving the new postal code! She now has a favorite pastime of spying on the neighbors, as that provides some good entertainment! Even though Adele is living in luxury as compared to her meager outdoor life, we, at EHS promised our little micro-panther that we would get her a permanent address, and that's just what we intend to do!

Adele would like you to know that she has FeLV, and should be the only cat in the household. FeLV poses no risk to humans or other species of animals. Cats with FeLV have a suppressed immune system, and have a greater likelihood of contracting secondary illnesses. Some cats that have FeLV conquer the virus and recover, while others may have a significantly shortened life expectancy. So, how do you best manage the virus? By keeping Adele indoors in a stress-free, calm home, with good nutrition and twice a year regular Vet check ups. Currently, Adele is healthy and does not require any medication. Adele is a loving cat, who is looking for someone to take a chance on her, and understand that whether she lives 2 years or 20, Adele has a lot of love to give and deserves a forever home just like any other cat.

Adele is hoping to be the One and Only for Someone Like You! And, if you've ever wanted to own your very own mini-panther, then make an appointment to say Hello to Adele at her Foster
