Lily thinks her job is to protect her home and family and she takes this job very seriously. When she through "working" for the day, she'll want to cuddle and sleep at the foot of your bed. She is affectionate and loves being petted and sitting on a lap. She weighs 36 pounds and is moderately active. She likes running and chase. Speaking of chase, she can't live with cats because she thinks they are there to be chased. She prefers to lead while on a leash. She is house trained and will scratch or bark at the door when she needs to go out. She spent her days freely roaming the house. She is obedient and knows the sit, come, and stay commands. She is easygoing, friendly, and playful with children of all ages. She is friendly and playful with some dogs but dominant with others. If you have a dog, you'll need to bring it to meet her to be sure they are compatible. She was given up because her family no longer had time for her. She got into trouble for barking, digging, begging, and racing out the door. She is wary of strangers so give her time to warm up to you.
