Chaplin is a sweetheart. He's the largest and most timid of the four siblings in my house. He's very food motivated and his shyness disappears with the right treats. Chaplin loves my resident cats and rushes out to greet them. He's shy with me. He now allows me to pet him and hold him for a couple minutes. I have noticed, the more I do this, the longer Chaplin allows me to hold him. He comes to me for Churu treats and wet food. I can pick him up, bathed him and clip his nails. Realistically, Chaplin will need a consistent owner who will pamper this shy boy.
With time, Chaplin has been getting more comfortable with being himself. Chaplin is a happy morning boy that dances and purrs in the morning for his wet food. Chaplin when he's grown comfortable with you will jump in bed with you and lay and purr. He loves little body massages where he melts into a puddle of purrs. He'll even roll over and let you pet his belly. Some days, I'll pop him in my kangaroo purse and carry him about. Sometimes he'll just curl up and sleep. Chaplin is a slow burn. He's shy when you meet him but with time you'll see the happy rabbit bouncing cat I see.
Chaplin loves resident cats. I find him often chasing my cats around the house. He'll likely bond with your resident cat first before you. It's realistic that it may take a month or two before Chaplin realizes you're pretty cool.
Chaplin must be adopted as a buddy to a friendly resident cat.
Like all ACR cats, Chaplin will be up-to-date on vaccines (he needs a booster before going to his furever home) and has been treated for fleas and parasites.
