Boba is a confident, gentle, food-loving little guy who is getting ready to find his forever home. He originally had a partner who sadly passed away, and while he was quiet at first in foster care, he's recently found his voice thanks to the resident piggies who showed him how fun wheeking can be. Now he eagerly joins in the chorus at salad time and loves to remind you when treats are due. His favorites are vitamin C cookies and joint health cookies. Boba either doesn't bother running away or truly relishes attention. He loves being petted and handled, showing off his confident little personality. He would also love to have another guinea pig friend to hang out with. He has shown how much he enjoys being around other piggies and companionship will help him thrive.
Boba does have some special care needs. He came to us with a severe case of "boar bum," so he requires weekly rear-end maintenance. All male guinea pigs need this monitored, but for Boba it is an absolute must. Boba has been diagnosed with advanced Arthritis; he has done well on his daily analgesic and this, along with access to soft bedding will be necessary for the rest of his life to ensure he remains comfortable and happy.
Despite this, Boba's sweet, confident personality shines. He enjoys attention, loves his food, and will make a wonderful companion for a family willing to give him the extra care he needs.
