Meet Sammy, the ultimate love bug with a brave spirit! This sweet boy has been through a lot, but you'd never guess it by the way he plays and snuggles. Sammy spent his early years on the streets with his sister, but when she was taken indoors, he was left on his own. After being hit by a car and suffering a broken pelvis and fractured hip, Sammy's luck turned around when his foster mom brought him inside and got him the care he needed. Thanks to surgery, Sammy is now as active as ever, zooming around without a care in the world!
Sammy also had surgery to fix a condition called Entropion, which caused his eyelashes to irritate his eyes. But like the little trooper he is, Sammy has bounced back and is ready to soak up all the love he can get. He's a huge fan of attention and won't hesitate to reach up and gently pull your hand down if he feels he's not getting enough pets!
This energetic boy loves the company of other cats and would be thrilled to join a home where he can have some feline friends to play with. Sammy was rescued with a fractured pelvis and required corrective surgery in early 2024. He also required surgery to correct entropion, which is an inversion of the eyelid and eyelashes. Both conditions have been resolved and no medical follow-up is required. Sammy is positive for FIV and negative for feline leukemia. Like all ACR cats, he has been treated for fleas and parasites.
