Hi Friends!
It's me, Piper! I'm not just your average pup - I'm 70lbs of pure cuteness with a face that can and does melt hearts. I am still young at the super, duper, fun age of one and a half ! I'm all about the snuggles and attention, but hey, no room for those pesky cats in my kingdom, okay? I tried, I just don't get their vibe! I've got the kid thing down (7 years and older, please), but those dog creatures might get me a bit excited the humans here at the GTHS say. I tend to get a bit "reactive" and pull on my leash! I don't understand why no one is appreciating the fact that I am alerting them to the presence of another dog! So, if you are experienced with dogs who like to help tell my humans by telling them "HEY THERE IS A DOG RIGHT THERE" then you should come see me because I think we would be perfect together. We could also do that training stuff which I really like, and I am super good at so we can do that for fun when we aren't cuddling and snuggling on the couch!
All of the people who have met me here at the GTHS and on all of my trips around town have fallen madly in love with me! I have been to the library, the police station, the radio station, and a ton of stores! I am so well behaved and sweet; I tell you I really am perfect if I do say so myself! I'm so excited about the prospect of a real home, putting a smile on your face and spreading happiness to my new family.
I'm sure you're wondering why I'm in the Special Paws program. Well, I do have some health concerns that my new family will need to be aware of. The amazing adoption counselors here at the GTHS will explain them to you and go over anything you need to know about wonderful old me so that I can be my healthiest, best self for a really long time! I am seeking a special family to find room in their heart for a dog in my situation, but I promise to give you all my love and affection in return for your kindness!
My adoption fee is $100 and includes my spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip. If you want to learn more about me, please come visit the GTHS and speak with one of the amazing Adoption Counsellors! The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12pm-4:00pm, every single day of the week and they would be thrilled to introduce you to me! I can't wait to meet you and am looking forward to starting my new life with my new family!
