Hi, I'm Michael Knight!

About me:
Michael is such a sweet boy. He just really wants as much love as he can get!

He loves meeting new people and dogs. He takes every opportunity to get petted he can get. He loves playing with his foster dog siblings. He's a rockstar at the dog park and loves meeting all the people and the dogs. He's really confident meeting new people and dogs, and he's also submissive to dominate dogs. He's been living with a cat in his foster home. He was a little overly invasive with his curiosity at first, but he's doing great now and has learned to respect the cat's personal space.

Michael is good about not touching things when told and is solid in going to the washroom outside. He's fairly quiet and rarely barks. He is in his kennel at night but has free roam of the house when we are away during the day. He loves his kennel though and frequently spends time in there on his own with the door wide open. He is nervous when going into new indoor environments and he'll need some patience and understanding to help him adjust when he goes to his new home. His unending love of people and pets helps to overcome this challenge. He's confident in new outdoor environments.

With positive reinforcement, he is very eager to please. He just wants to get as much love and attention as he possibly can.

Likes: All forms of love and attention! He also loves getting dried off with a towel when he comes in the house after playing out in the snow.

Dislikes: Car rides - He's still adjusting to car rides and he drools incessantly in the car. He jumps right in the car on his own and he doesn't cry or try to escape in any way. He actually seems to enjoy looking out the windows. BUT he drools the entire time he's in the car and sometimes throws up. Hopefully he'll overcome this reaction once he's gotten more used to car rides.
