Hello, I'm Burton, the shelter's resident grumpy old man cat. I ended up here in the shelter due to a hilarious misunderstanding. I was taking my usual evening stroll, minding my own business, when I was mistaken for a famous cat burglar. Can you believe that? Me, a burglar? The only thing I've ever stolen is a nap! Anyways, after some explaining, they let me stay. I've got the perfect balance of mellow and grumpy, so if you're looking for a companion who won't bother you for constant attention, but will be there when you need a friend, I'm your cat! I would like a cat-experienced home without children or other cats/small animals, I am set in my ways and I don't have time to train a new human on how to cat, you understand right?
***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.
