Hi, I'm Lil' Bear !🐾

I'm a senior Pomeranian who spent my whole life in a breeder's cage, never knowing what a couch felt like, or fresh grass under my paws, or what it means to truly be loved. When I arrived in foster care, I was ungroomed, not feeling my best, and trembling with fear. But I'm tougher than I look - and every single day, I grow braver and remember a little more how to be a dog.

I've received full veterinary care - I'm neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and had dental care that left me with no teeth-- but I do just fine!

I am making great progress with potty training and go outside or use potty pads with only occasional accidents. I am crate trained but love exploring the house and yard but the crate is my safe place. At night I sleep quietly at the foot of my foster mom's bed with several other dogs. I don't know how to walk on leash yet but I'm great in the car and stroller!

My favorite things? Sunbathing in a warm patch of light. Belly rubs and snuggles. Taking a slow leisurely bath. Exploring the quiet corners of the yard at my own pace. Eating (very important). Riding in my stroller like the distinguished gentleman I am. And hanging out with other little dogs, though I'm perfectly fine with bigger ones too.

Now, can we talk about Ragdoll, Princess and Angel's Pride? They are fellow Pomeranians who came from the same breeder, and when I see them- I light up (that's Ragdoll in the photos). We snuggle, we flirt, we do everything but hold paws. I would be over the moon to be adopted alongside one of my breeder companions. We already speak the same language, and there is nothing quite like a friend who really gets you.

My ideal home:

A fenced yard for sunbathing and sniffing
Another calm little dog (bonus points if it's Ragdoll or Princess 🐾)
Gentle hands and patience - I'm still learning to trust
A quiet, peaceful household where I can settle in at my own pace
Only older, mature, quiet, and gentle children
A retired person or someone home often who has time to let me blossom

I've waited my whole life for a soft place to land. Could that place be your home?
