This puppy will be adopted through our Foster-to-Adopt program until he/she is neutered/spayed by our veterinarian. Participation in this program requires that she be returned to our rescue for the spay procedure once surgery appointments become available.
Because of this requirement, we are currently limiting applicants to those who live within 60 miles of our rescue in De Soto to ensure timely scheduling and coordination. Our veterinary team has been extremely busy completing these procedures, and when surgery appointments open, we often need to act quickly. Coordinating returns from longer distances has proven to be challenging.
