????ZOIE????
This little 7 pound nugget is the sweetest with a more sad than sweet story. Zoie is 11 and spent her whole life with one owner, who recently had to go to a nursing home and couldn't take Zoie.
Zoie was so scared and not eating at the shelter. Once in a foster home she regained confidence and eats well. She follows her foster mom around the house as she is desperate to not be left behind again.
Despite being an old gal, she moves like a young girl. She jumps up on the couch, loves to go for walks and will run around or in the yard even longer than the fosters own dogs sometimes.
She seems potty trained. She does okay in a kennel but can bark to express her displeasure as she is requesting free access to the couch.
She loves her foster siblings both kid and dog alike (2 of each in the home).
She did come to us with a history of seizures and is on a twice daily med to control that. We've seen no seizure activity while we've had her so the med seems to do its job.
Left behind at a shelter is NOT how her story ends.
Zoie has made it clear that she is a spunky, loving gal who wants someone to take her on walks, snuggle and spend time with. Will you make space on your couch and in your heart for her?
