Harper Searles will be adopted through our Foster-to-Adopt program until she is spayed by our veterinarian. Participation in this program requires that she be returned to our rescue for the spay procedure once surgery appointments become available.
Because of this requirement, we are currently limiting applicants to those who live within 60 miles of our rescue in De Soto to ensure timely scheduling and coordination. Our veterinary team has been extremely busy completing these procedures, and when surgery appointments open, we often need to act quickly. Coordinating returns from longer distances has proven to be challenging.
To determine whether a dog has been spayed or neutered, please visit the dog's profile on our website. Once the procedure has been completed, the profile will display "Spayed/Neutered" with a checkmark next to that designation. This notation will not appear until surgery is complete.
