Maverick - Distinguished Gentleman, Leading Man, Forever-Home Seeker
Maverick is a handsome lab mix with just a touch of silver that only adds to his allure (think of a younger George Clooney, but in dog form). He's a charming, sociable guy who loves to greet visitors at his kennel door-often popping up on his back legs so he can look you right in the eyes and make that instant heart connection.
Once slated for euthanasia, Maverick's story could've ended far too soon... but we weren't about to let that happen. And thank goodness, because this gentleman has so much more story left to tell-one that deserves a loving family, cozy couch naps, and a home of his very own.
He keeps his kennel clean, enjoys the company of other dogs, adores people, and is more than ready for his next chapter.
As with all of our adoptables, a meet-and-greet is needed with all family members-human and furry-to make sure it's a perfect forever match.
