💛 NUBBY: A Second Chance Wrapped in Fur (and the Best Ears Ever) 💛
Nubby's story almost ended far too soon. At just 8 months old, this sweet boy found himself on the euthanasia list-scared, confused, and running out of time. But even then, he sat with those big, alert ears standing tall, like he was listening for someone to come and save him.
And we did.
Now that he's safe, those ears have become one of his most charming features. They perk straight up when he hears your voice, tilt dramatically when he's curious, and wiggle just a little when he's excited. They're expressive, adorable, and impossible not to fall in love with-they tell his whole story without him saying a word.
Since entering rescue, Nubby has been blossoming into the sweetest, most grateful boy. He walks beautifully on a leash, likes other dogs, and is working hard on his potty training-trying every day to learn what's expected of him. He's eager to please and so proud of himself when he gets it right.
Every day he grows a little more confident, a little more trusting, and those wonderful ears stay tuned to the people who love him-like he's making sure he never misses another moment of kindness.
