Pete is a 2-year-old German Shepherd / Border Collie mix with the personality of the kid who everyone knows and loves. Friendly, outgoing, and full of charm, Pete never misses a chance to meet new people and make instant friends-he was definitely the popular guy in a past life.
This boy has energy for days. Think "kid after way too much sugar" and you've got Pete's vibe. He's looking for an active family who enjoys walks, adventures, playtime, and maybe even some training games to keep his busy brain happy.
Speaking of brains-Pete is very smart and highly treat-motivated, which makes him a fun and rewarding dog to work with. He's eager to learn, loves having a job to do, and will thrive with positive reinforcement and structure.
As with all of our adoptables, a meet n greet with all family members residing in a home (furry and not so furry) is needed to ensure it is a great fit and will be his forever family.
