Meet Bonnie and Bob!
Bonnie and Bob, our bonded duo, came to us from a rescue after receiving them from a breeder. They are still learning what it means to be loved pets but are currently shy and unsocialized. They have not mastered walking on a leash and would do best in a home with a secure, physical fenced yard where they can safely potty, play, and learn new skills.
They're comfortable using potty pads but will need a patient adopter willing to teach them new routines and skills at their own pace. Fast movements and loud noises can be scary for them, so a calm, adult-only home with gentle guidance would be best. They don't do well with small dogs but may thrive alongside a larger, confident dog who can help show them the ropes. Bonnie and Bob would just need proper introductions to other animals to make sure everyone gets along well.
With Bonnie and Bob being considered high maintenance due to their grooming needs, and since they have not had experience with a groomer, they will need to be groomed with sedation or medication from a vet until they have had time to trust new experiences.
They are looking for someone who understands that progress may be slow and that their affection may look different than most other dogs. With time, consistency, and compassion, these two will learn to blossom into wonderful companions for someone that is ready to help them feel safe and loved.
