Sonny came to us as a stray, and his journey toward trust is unfolding day by day. He's slowly warming up to people, showing glimpses of the loyal and loving companion he's meant to be. Sonny has a big bark and a cautious nature, so we're taking things slow to help him feel safe and secure.
Because of his wariness around new faces, Sonny will likely need multiple meet-and-greets to truly connect with his future humans. We're not sure yet how he feels about other dogs or cats, so a careful introduction would be necessary. At this time, we recommend that Sonny go to a home with no kids.
A fenced yard is required for Sonny, as he's still learning to feel comfortable around strangers and needs a secure space to decompress and explore.
