Cantaloupe is a sweetheart with a heart as big as her smile. This gorgeous girl came to us as a stray, and while her past is a mystery, we believe she was a mama dog once upon a time. Her body carries a few scars and she arrived very underweight, but her spirit is full of love and resilience.
Despite her rough start, Cantaloupe is a certified cuddle bug who's always ready to shower you with kisses. She is known for licking her door, and if you walk through our Adoption Center, you may even see her tongue sticking out (silly girl)! She gets a little anxious in her kennel-especially during storms-but once she's outside, the zoomies take over and her joy is contagious!
Around other dogs, Cantaloupe is calm and independent. She's not one for rough play, preferring to do her own thing while keeping the peace, but a meet and greet will be required for all furry friends in the home. We are unsure if she's ever met a cat.
