Meet Smalls!
Smalls is a charming 3-year-old German Shepherd mix that has had an adventurous life. He was first spotted near Booneville and was eventually corralled near Waukee using an entire roast, which is how he got his name, "Your Killing Me Smalls!". Although he wandered far, he is a homebody, loving his chill time on the couch and lots of petting. He is a little timid when first meeting, but don't let that fool you, he has a goofy side. He loves wrestling his dog siblings in the backyard, zoomies, and daily walks. He seems to be fine with cats, more like he knows not to mess around and find out. Loud noises, storms, and sudden movements scare him, so a home with teenagers and adults would be best, and because he wandered for so long, a six-foot fence is necessary for his safety. Smalls is a gentleman; he sits on command and shakes and is house-trained. He can use a kennel, but he does so well at his foster home that it is not necessary. Smalls is looking for a quiet, calm yet still active family to be his safe place and love this sweet boy forever.
