I'm used to walking on the "wild side" so being at Animal Ark has been a real adjustment for me. I was running loose outside the Shelter, and they were finally able to get me in out of the cold. I'm named Merlot and I'm a timid and shy black female who is 5 years old. My new home will have to have understanding people who will give me lots of space and time to acclimate to new surroundings, at my own pace. A quiet setting would suit me best without children or lots of activity. If you're willing to give me a chance, I'll take it!
