This energetic hound mix is full of personality and always ready for adventure! Flapjack came to AHeinz57 from a home packed with pups, so he's used to being part of a lively pack. Since being on-site at the rescue, we have learned that he can be a little scared of other dogs at first. Once he gets to know them he will romp around and play. Flapjack does get to go outside with his brother, Flint, and they do love to wrestle!
Flapjack has a big voice and isn't afraid to use it. He also loves people and will give everyone free hugs! As most hounds do, Flapjack does love to sniff when he is out and about. He does pull on his leash, but we are working on his leash skills.
Flapjack is a strong chewer, so he'll need durable toys to keep him busy and happy. We believe that Flapjack was kept outside prior to coming to us, so he may need some assistance with house manners. He's got plenty of energy to burn outside, making him a great companion for walks, playtime, or backyard zoomies. Despite his spirited nature, he's a sweet guy who just wants to be part of the action.
A meet-and-greet with all humans and furry friends is required to make sure Flapjack finds the perfect match. If you're looking for a fun, spirited pup who's full of life and love, Flapjack might be just the one!
